And all of a sudden I found a smile on my face and a happy little thought popped into my head...
"You get to spend your day with these precious little people!"
I felt like that moment was a blessing.
A needed reminder of what a great privilege it is to be a Mother and spend my days raising some of God's beloved children!
Love those moments! Cute boys. So Natalie asked me the other day (out of the blue), "Can we grow out Eli's hair to look like Bridger's curly hair?" Funny, huh?! :)
ReplyDeletethat was so sweet - those 2 are just adorable! I have moments like that a lot lately. Gabe is SUCH a joy to be around...even though he has his "tough" moments! The times like you mentioned FAR outweigh the negative. I love being a mom and I feel so blessed to have you and my other sisters, as well as Mom of course, as such wonderful examples!
ReplyDeleteYou hit the target---Motherhood is the best!
ReplyDeleteWhat sweet little boys you have Mel. Those moments are precious and make it all worthwhile. Love the cowboy boots!
ReplyDeleteI don't often leave comments but I just wanted to let you know that I always catch up on your blog and I LOVE seeing you guys! You are such a great MOM and you have such beautiful children! You are also very inspirational...I love your "TO DO" lists!!
ReplyDeleteThose boys are so sweet. And looking so big. I miss them so much. They are lucky to have you as a stay at home mommy, sis. You are amazing!
ReplyDeleteTHAT brought tears to my eyes! (I didn't cry though.) I love the boots too! . . and don't cut his hair! Grandpa
