Coleman and his handmade self

Last week when I would ask Coleman what he did at school he would say things like...

"Oh, today I was sooo busy working on my kidneys and lungs"

OR

"I was running late for recess because I wasn't done cutting out my heart and small intenstines"

What???!!

But now I understand...
Introducing Coleman by Coleman
complete with all the important insides and the signature spikey hair!

I was admiring this darling little masterpiece when a fight broke out....BOYS!!

I love the spikey hair! Pretty detailed stuff for first grade. That's awesome. I'll show these pics to Josh. Just seeing your work area in your kitchen put together, etc. makes your move so real. We miss you,and Coleman, and your crew, too.

Ahh...boys! My boys made those in school too! How is life lately? I can hardly imagine how busy you must be having all those cute dudes AND having construction going on around you! We think about you guys often!

How cute. Blake has one too only I never knew about it until it came home. I wish he would tell me more details of his day. We always hear about recess and that's about it:)

Too adorable! Isn't it fun having sons? I remember those days of cute costumes fondly, when my boys would talk about what they were "gonna be" weeks and weeks in advance. The youngest is past that age now (just turned 13), and the oldest dresses up for high school Halloween parties (fun too, but in sort of a different realm). Looks like you have a wonderful home and a beautiful family. Love your blog too. (All this and the Sisters Cafe as well? Better face it, Melanie Anne, you're a dynamo!)
