Room 220 & 221

Our first 10 days in the South were spent at the Holiday Inn Express in Ringgold, Georgia. It was a 20 minute drive to the boys schools in the Chattanooga, Tennessee area where our new home is located. Connor's school started 1 1/2 hours before his brothers. Which means a lot of driving back and forth in our rental van!

So instead of the traditional First Day of School Picture in front of our heart wreath on the front door--we had one in front of Room 220!

We sorted school supplies...
the little monkeys jumped on the beds...

read bedtime stories...

And had lots of fresh baked cookies that were set out in the lobby every day. With the cookies and not having to make your bed and do chores ...the boys thought the Holiday Inn was a pretty cool place!

What troopers your little guys have been! I can't imagine picking up a family of 5 and starting over but it looks like you have all made the most of it...I would too if freshly baked cookies were waiting for me everyday! I hope everyone's first few weeks of school have gone smoothly and I can't wait to see the new house. When will our room be ready? :)

Sam still asks every now & then if we can go back to our house with the pool & candy machine (the Marriott in St. George!)

Oh, I'll bet you are so happy to be done with Holiday Inn... even if you did get cookies every day. :) Your boys look cute in front the hotel room! haha. I love their jerseys. I hope they are liking school in their new home. We miss you and can't wait to come visit!

What amazing memories! Love the jerseys, too. That would be a lot of travel time in the van back and forth---guess you got to know the area better that way, though. Hurray for cookies!

Melanie, you look so good! Not at all like a mom of 5 boys moving half way across the country. ONce again, and as always, you are my HERO!

those pics were SO cute! I miss all those boys so much...man. It looks like they had a great adventure - even though I know it has been really stressful for you. But those daily fresh baked cookies had to have taken the edge off, right? :) You look like a babe in that last picture by the way!! I MISS YOU!!
