In the afternoon of Christmas Eve we baked and frosted sugar cookies with Grandma
We filled and deliverd boxes of goodies for dear friends
We lit the candles for our traditional Christmas Eve dinner of Chicken A la King
Snuggled this little guy
Opened new PJs
Read the Christmas story found in the Holy Bible
Sang carols and fun Christmas songs (including The Twelve Days ..where everyone has their own solo verse:) with Grandma and Bridger on the piano.
Christmas Morning photo--as always lined up youngest to oldest to see what Santa brought!
After playing with our Santa toys and a yummy breakfast, we open all our gifts to each other.

Cannon loved his new cowboy boots!
A NFL jersey for Bridger so he can be like "the brothers". He was thrilled!
Connor actually wanted this book--but what 12 year old boy wouldn't? A book of totally useless information...what a treasure!
We also had a lovely dinner with bubbly to celebrate this special day. It was magical and so fun to share with Grandma and Grandpa.
What a merry Christmas we had!
We hope yours was too!

It looks like you had a wonderful Christmas! I'm so glad that Brad's parents could be there. How fun!
Melanie -
You don't know me (well, not really) but I am Ric Anderson's daughter Emily.
My dad told me quite a few months ago about your food blog and I have been hooked ever since. I popped over here quite by accident, but I just wanted to tell you that I think your family is just lovely. How do you do it all? You must be wonder woman!
Hope you are having a great time on your new adventure back east. My dad sure misses having Brad around.
Take care & happy blogging!
Looks like you had a wonderful Christmas! And that book of useless information...I'm afraid Davis would enjoy that too! boys. And your hair is getting so long...it's beautiful! It was sure good to talk to you the other day.
Your Christmas looked so fun, sis! I loved the picture of all the boys in their jammies... esp the little ones with thei new stuffed animals, too. I missed you guys this year!
I loved all these Christmas pictures. THe boys are so darn cute! I can't even begin to tell you how much I miss them. I was glad that Beth and DeLoy could be there with you. I thought about Beth on Christmas eve when I was trying to struggle through accompanying the family singing the carols! I loved that year when she was here with us sharing her wonderful talent. YIKES! I we really needed her.
I looked like Christmas was really wonderful at your house. Maybe in a few years we can come out and spend Christmas with you.
Love,
Mom
I LOVED READING THIS POST! and seeing all the pictures! I laughed when I saw Connor so pleased with his Book of Totally Useless Information. :) The PJs are cute - Ben has a mouse like that from "give a mouse a cookie" or whatever book it is, and he loves it and sleeps with it a lot. I love the candles on your plates. Where did you find the holders to buy???!!
Love you!
How fun!! I loved every picture. You are so succinct... I need to work on not writing a novel about every single thing, ha ha! :)
