Random Happy Stuff

First,

we started the week off with a happy surprise... Brad got tickets to a preseason NFL game in Nashville on Monday Evening. Tennessee Titans vs. Arizona Cardinals. Connor our AZ boy(born in Mesa while his Daddy was finishing up at ASU) and a BIG time Cardinals fan was very excited!

He was especially thrilled to see Max Hall (Quaterback from BYU) throw the only touchdown of the night for the Cardinals!
Wooo hooo!

I am happy seeing my littlest guys sharing so sweetly:)
We sure love that little" splitter thingy"!

I am also happy that Bridger LOVES the new haircut he begged for. I was little sad to do it...but those curls will grow back, right?! For what ever reason, he is just so proud of his shaved head, and that makes me smile!

And a little Happiness in the mail...

I look forward to and get inspired by these publications...
Pottery Barn, Ensign, Better Homes and Gardens, Martha Stewart Living and Southern Living.
Well, the little boys and I are headed to Atlanta today for a little shopping at Pottery Barn, IKEA, and Costco! Some of my happy places:)
Happy Friday everybody!
What are your plans??

Sounds like lots of fun at your house! Thanks for asking what our plans are! Friday night my husband, son, and girs are going to a Pep Rally for our sons football team which I'm making Chicken Poppy Seed Salad for-Very Yummy and I'll be working a night shift tonight. Saturday morning Brad has his first football game of the season! Whoa! I'll come home and sleep for a while then Ashley, Brad and I are going to the temple with the youth, In the late afternoon Kev, Ash and Brad are loading up and headed with their "WE ARE BYU FOOTBALL" $5 T-shirts and headed for the game opener against Washington in Provo! McKayla and I will have a "girls" night-I think we might do a mini spa thing and watch the game-do a craft! If anyone has a fun idea that I can do as a craft with KK-wait as I write this duh! I can do vintage inspired flower headbands! LOL! I'm a goof. But still open to ideas for next time. On Sunday we will relax, write in our journals, play a game as a family and have PIE sessions with Dad! Hope you all have a fun weekend!

Hey Sis! That post was great! I really enjoy looking at your blog. I'm sitting here in a little cafe in Vietnam eating some "good attempt" pizza with Griff. We just needed a little American food today!

It's 12:30pm Saturday for us but only 11:30pm Friday for you guys so I've already had my Friday night but it was fun. We went to one of the nicest restaurants in district one of Ho Chi Minh city with some of the people we're working with. It was great Vietnamese food but as we were getting ready to leave this nice restaurant a monster rat ran by us and around the corner! It kind of threw me off!

Love you sis- tell Bridger I think his buzz cut is awesome!!

I did a double take when I saw Bridger trying to place which kid he was. :) His new hair cut looks pretty cool! Though I miss his cute little curls, too. My weekend was good. I worked Friday and Amy babysat Jack during the day, then Mom and Dad watched him that night. Then Saturday, I had Logan and Wesley over while Amy went to Swiss Days. Wesley and Logan were angels... and Jack? He was a little angel most of the time with a little devil thrown in here and there for good measure. :) Wish I could have had your boys over, too. Love you!

Oh, I meant to say that about labor day, about accomplishing things! :)
Anyway, I just LOVE that picture of Connor in his Cardinals jersey. Totally cool! What a fun dad Brad is! I'm so glad they had a fun time!

OH, I loved seeing Con in his Cardinals shirt - sure love that guy! And the pic of the two "little" boys was so cute. Bridger has always been such a sweet brother and a good sharer. I did a double take of Bridger with the new haircut. He is so cute but looks different! Miss them all. Give them a special hug from me.

Hello-
so I know this is so random, but I felt that I needed to say something! I am an avid follower of the sisterscafe blog and I have converted quite a few people to it as well! I came across your personal blog today (don't be creeped out! :) ) and I want to thank you for your wonderful example to me. I am a 24 year old LDS woman from SLC and I have to say that you are so inspiring to me. I am grateful that you have links to the LDS websites throughout your blogs, reference the General Relief Society broadcast, etc. It's amazing how I know nothing about you but I do know where you stand on your beliefs of the gospel and that is such a rare thing these days. Thank you for being an example to me- I hope to be a creative, wonderful, inspiring house mom like you are one day!
Elise
