We are under construction and it is LOUD!! The first day the little boys kept running up to me with worried little faces everytime they heard the LOUD banging above our heads.
We are adding over 900 square feet upstairs. There was only a bedroom and bathroom finished when we bought the house. The rest was attic space. We are adding a couple of nice dormers for big windows in another bedroom and big great room. We will also have a storage room and little sitting area for the piano. I can not wait for it to be done. We can't really unpack until it is. We have a garage stuffed with furniture and boxes stacked here and there in the house...all waiting for the upstairs to be finished. Until then we are having fun making forts...

And we picked out a new hutch. I didn't realize how big it was until it was delivered and placed in my home. I guess I am going to have to go shopping to find dishes to fill those shelves!! Oh darn!
