Valentines Day Party!

I LOVE VALENTINES DAY!!!! (I can admit I am a little crazy about holidays!) I decorate the kitchen the night before and make pink heart shaped pancakes or french toast for breadkfast every year. I know is it silly --but I just can't help myself. Every year Brad and I spend Valentines Day with our boys. (Don't get me wrong--we still have an official romantic date, just not that night!) We always have the gourmet menu of heart pizza, love potion (fruit punch with dry ice), and lots of treats! We all make Valentines for each other earlier in the week and deliver them that night. This is a tradition from my childhood--we leave them on the doorstep, ring the doorbell and run back in through the back door. You can imagine--the door bell rings for hours! My boys get such a kick out of it. It is hilarious. Brad and I always give the boys a movie and we all watch it together that night. This year we got them "Game Plan" It was about a football player--so we knew it would be a big hit! We had such a fun night! I know someday they will outgrow all these silly traditions, but for now we are all loving every minute!

We surprised Brad with balloons in his office. The boys attached little love notes to each one.

Watching our movie and just a sampling of our Valentines!

What cute ideas! I love it...your boys will adore you for being such a fun mom. How do you make your heart shaped pizzas? I would love to start that with our family but I have a feeling my pizzas would not turn into heart shapes.

That looks so fun, sis! You are seriously the best mom and wife. I remember when you would decorate and make breakfast or dinner for Valentines when I was little, too. Isn't it one of your favorite holidays? I love you, Mel!
