A Sunday Drive (a little Slice of the South)

One Sunday afternoon we decided to take the boys on a ride winding in and out of Tennessee and North Georgia in the country around our house. We really are in the country, and yet only 15 minutes from the mall, airport and shopping. It is perfect and so very BEAUTIFUL!

Trees (and boys) EVERYWHERE
And a ride in the country wouldn't be complete without some broken down trucks parked here and there, right?!

Ahhhhh....

( thought of you Dad when I came around a bend and saw this gorgeous sight! Come and visit us...you would love it here! )

We came home and made yummy pumpkin muffins. Find the recipe here.

What a beautiful state you live in! It reminds me of the Washington - only it's a little more mountainous here. I can't wait to come visit you guys!

It looks so pretty there. I loved the trees and the horses in Kentucky too. Fall is such a beautiful time there. It was great visiting with your parents a couple of weeks ago. They were so nice to visit my Dad after his hip replacement.
