Thank Heavens it is(almost) Friday!

(Looking forward to pizza night tomorrow--Cannon & army guys working on his slice:)

hello friends!

I have missed my little blog this week, but my absence has been for good reasons! My crew keeps me busy and I love it--but this week I taught a cooking class on the importance of family dinner and blogging had to go. Since I feel very strongly about this subject--I put a lot of time and energy into the preparations. Any extra time I had not caring for my family and running our household was spent getting ready for the class. It was a wonderful topic to study up on. I was happy to find so many statistics and inspiring quotes to support and back up my passion for making the time for dinner with your family. The class was a blessing to teach. I will share with you my notes here, if you're interested--but tonight I have stories to read, little ones to tuck in and sleep to catch up on:)

You are an amazing example, as always. Did you teach at Enrichment (or whatever they call it now)? I would love you to do a blog on the highlights of your presentation. I would love to hear your thoughts.

Just wanted to say thanks for the awesome class! (I was one of the "lucky ones" who got to attend.) Although most of what you said wasn't new to me, it was EXACTLY what I needed to hear. I'm thankful for the reminder that I am in charge of spiritually (and physically) feeding my kids and I can do both when we have dinner together. Yes, our afternoons are crazy busy but I am looking forward to making a more concerted effort to meal plan and prep beforehand so we can enjoy this special time together. Don't you just love it when Heavenly Father sends you a message exactly when you need it?! Thanks!
