Day Trip: Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge TN

We spent the day after Christmas in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge Tennessee.
Such a fun day---very festive!

I think the boys most enjoyed "The Wonderworks"--this strange upside down building that was chock full of fun stuff to do:)  Have you been there before?  I hear there is one in Orlando too.

Coleman, Cannon and Bridger on the ropes.
We even spotted Spiderman--go Connor!  I am proud to say that yes even I climbed to the top.  I was trying to impress my boys who were all too busy having fun to notice!

My sweet little climber

This crazy contraption went upside down if you pedaled hard enough.  These two had it spinning in circles!

Mind games--who is the most relaxed?  These two are my most "chill" guys so I thought this would be a good one.  In the end Connor beat Bridger for the most relaxed mind.
Yes that is a bed of nails--yikes!
 Batting cages--and so much more.
It was so much fun that I didn't even get a picture of Coleman who was in fact there, he was just busy trying to do everything.  Pretty impressive for this crew of boys!

Such a charming place nestled in the Smokey Mountains. I here there are incredible hikes to do and sights to see. We will be back Gatlinburg, TN!
I highly recommend this place, if you are ever in this neck of the woods!

Oh my goodness, that place seems like a dream come true! So much fun! I love the mind game - the most relaxed mind. Go Connor and Bridger! :) The family portrait at the top is really pretty. What a handsome crew you are. And the background is so pretty too! Also loved the photo of you and Beth.

We've done the hikes before...they are SO MUCH FUN!!!! You'll definitely have to go back. Also, close by is Mt. Mitchell (highest point east of the Mississippi (I think). Also, there is Lake Lure (cool historical stuff with that). We went on a boat tour across the lake and learned all sorts of cool stuff. One of the places they pointed out was the place where the lake scene in Dirty Dancing was filmed. It's so beautiful up there and so many things to do!!
